Hello friends...
Do you believe in Superheroes? I do. I have even have met a few!
A couple weeks back, Amy of Superheroes Believe in Miracles, reached out to me to ask if I would be interested in helping photographing real life superheroes for a calendar. Superheroes Believe in Miracles is a nonprofit, specializing in celebrating children battling chronic or serious illnesses, which include mental illnesses. Their mission is to make these kids feel like the superheroes we know them to be. This calendar is a fundraiser for their goal of helping celebrate these children with birthday gift that put a smile of their faces.
Naturally, I couldn't pass up on this incredible chance. As rewarding as it is for these Superheroes to dress up in the favorite costumes and smile for the camera; it is just as rewarding to me.... after all I am a parent of a Congenital Heart Defect Warrior and Superhero myself.
